and scoping the browning bl-22 with a leupy vx1 2-7x32 I have laying around. I've readjusted the parallax for 50yds for a previous rimfire but I gotta question for you bl-22 men please. I know this sounds fiddly but if I put a set 'o burris signature rings on the dovetail will they marr the finish if I take the scope off if he wants to shoot irons?? I know this is tooky but dang the finish and scrolling are so purty I really don't wanna detract from that with clamp marks if I don't have to or am I stressing about nothing? he really would take it squirrel hunting if'n it had a scope on it. I know my boy is spoiled. I did mod a peep site from a ruger mini-14 and install it on the bl-22 and that was pretty nice as well. I know when I take rings off my cz-452's there is no marr at all and it looks like they never were there.
thanks,
Big Ed

Wouldn't a J&P adapter work like this, then just use a set of burris sigs? Those adapters won't leave a mark.
