Picked up a clean looking Model 94 in 32 special serial number tells me it is a 1971 build, it that shoots pretty good BUT I have to cock it manually each time. I tried cycling the lever slowly or fast and it pushes the hammer back but not enough to catch.

Where do I start? I would think the ramp that contacts the hammer is bad, but the gun does not show much wear so it couldn't have worn out...

Hammer doesn't look modified will have my local gunsmith check it out. Gun came off GunBroker from a dealer in Connecticut I could not personally check it out. It is always a roll of the dice.
