We have deer that are eating my Wife's shrubs and flowers in the borders around our house.
They even poke there heads through the slats on the front porch, and eat her flowers on the porch!
So, I bought a daisy model 10 to "sting" them a little.
Didn't want something powerful enough to draw blood, just sting 'em enough to spook 'em away.
I think this little daisy will be just right!
Haven't shot any yet, but am keeping the little BB gun close by.

Good luck with the Daisy...
We tried that off and on when we didn't have a dog around the place. A beagle is more fun (until they roll in a gut pile) than an air rifle...
Our beagle rolled in something yesterday and she is in jail... She got scrubbed down with dawn dish soap and she still reeks.

You're gonna put an eye out with that thing!! I found a paintball gun very useful in discouraging the neighborhood dogs from hanging around when my bitch was in heat. Would probably work for deer as well and you could keep track of your hits!

I grew up shooing a Daisy BB gun.
Lived across the street form a millpond.
Lots of fun times back then!
I figured $35. was cheap fun for an old retired guy like me.
I set out on my front porch a lot anyway.
Now I have TWO guns to have along.
The BB rifle for deer, and a rimfire for vermin.
Retirement living in the woods is GREAT!

Got my first shot at a deer with the new BB gun this AM.
It was in my front yard at o-dark-thirty, probably about 20 yards from my porch.
Popped it with the BB gun, and it took off like it's pants were on fire!
Seemed to work pretty good! (GRIN!)

Our yards are battlegrounds and a Daisy is our only friend. Nice shooting buckaroo.

vbshootinrange, you have bought a great and capable gun. Better 'n a Creedmsomethingortheother! My Daisy was new 1949. Still kills starlings. The biggest thing it ever killed was a neighbor's chicken, Dad took it away for a month. Neighbor never did like me after that. Smallest game I ever shot with it was barn flies on the barn door. Shot frogs pretty good too. It has not been shot in about a month, Gotta getter out!

Try a very tiny bit of low viscosity, white sewing machine oil down the bore of your DRR. Too much will not be good — slop up your barrel and obviously reduce velocity. But just a drop or so (enough for many shots) seals the bore around that BB and increases velocity visibly without acting as a drag.
As they say for many off-label drug applications, this is not an FDA-approved use. 🤔😊

I will wear out cocking mechanism on a daisy red rider a year shooting carpenter bees around shop. 24.95 is best cheap fun you can have other than FREE.
If it ain't broke don't fix it!!!!!!!!!!!
