Just for the heck of it I checked on Amazon and found it for $39.99. Different cover though; it shows Carter posing on a dead elephant. Amazon confirmed this morning that it was shipped directly from Safari Press as a third party vendor.
I wonder if this was a preliminary printing, or such.

I got a copy from Buzz at the DSC show for 40 bucks, he even put a personalized autograph inside for me. I haven't had time to read anything yet but I sure it will be interesting.

I bought it when it first came out. Found it very entertaining and informative. Being a daily reader of Accurate Reloading, I recognize many of the AR icons who are regular customers of Buzz.
