Hey everyone I am new here so give me a break if I'm posting this wrong. I just bought a Leupold VX6 HD 3x18x50 fire dot scope. You turn the scope till the dot stops blinking and its suppose to be level.I have had 2 new ones and both scopes turrents are not level when scope says it is. I went and looked at another VX 6 HD same scope and even put a level on it and it shows level.What give? This is a $1700.00 scope and seems to me they should be set up the same. Does anyone here have one of these scopes and the same problem? I sent it back too Leupold and waiting too see what gives. Again thanks for the help and I hope This is on the right thread.

How did you verify the electronics were incorrect? Were they visibly off to the eye or did you need a level?

Hey mine blinks too. I just thought it was the top or bottom of the brightness.
I can write, but I can not read. A terrible handicap!

Unless you hang out here long enough, then, it is a blessing. They blink at the top and bottom of the brightness settings. You can also put the VX6HD into leveling mode where the reticle will flash when not level. Its used when mounting and typically turned off after mounting has been completed.

Why not use a level? You are going to have to level the rifle in the rest anyway.... which means you have the right tool for the job at your fingertips. Use it!

Leupold allows 3 degree of reticle cant. That means when your turrets are leveled, the reticle can be 3 degrees off. 3 degrees is VERY noticeable.
