Mine is an 8 twist 6.5. Chambered in 6.5x47, shoots .2 to .3 for 5 shots with 140 vld and 147 out of a crappy 700 factory action. That with a total of 5 rounds of load development. Medium palma.

Got a #2 7 twist 6.5 on the way now. They have a great PRS record going as well.

I have one in a Remington Varmint profile chambered in 6mm Creedmoor. Haven't done any load development yet but it shoots factory ELD-M ammo into three-shot 0.30" groups at 100 yards.

Oh some of the local smiths like to give them crap. That one cost me $360 total for the lefty stainless action and amazingly the bolt handle is still on, the extractor is still working and there wasn't any truing done. A custom would be better I am sure, just not sure if it would be a lot better.

Very anxious to get my #2 contour HH in here. Should be soon.

I almost purchased one from Dixie Precision(Bugholes.com) in 6.5. Then went ahead and purchased from Ol’Reliable. Schneider barrels, guess I’ll have to try one in .30 cal as soon as Bugholes has them on hand for purchase. I’m sick of the wait game when it comes to barrels.

I just e-mailed them also. A friend and I are going to do a couple .338-.300 Win mags. My friend hit pay dirt. Called Rock Creek barrels and they had a #3 sporter on hand and he had it in 5 days! I couldn’t be so lucky 🍀! I e-mailed Hawk Hill to see if they could get me a #3 sporter in .338. I have a month or so before JGS will have the reamer to me.

Talked to Shawn at Hawk Hill the other day, he said they are 6-8 weeks out on barrels. Also he told me they will make a #2 contour SS up to 7mm if you want a 30cal need to step up to a #3 heavy sporter.
