Yep my wife was their selling her wears. I put 4 rifles on the table as models to display her slings.. several guys were sad when they saw the not for sale. $1300 minimum to get my left model 70..😁

I bought 500 77gr .224 Sierra MatchKing hollow points for $120..

No sales tax because I'm pretty sure fairgrounds not in Palmer city limits..

Damn Palmer being shady ph ucks. Just the fairgrounds not any of the outlying areas. You know save money by not having Palmer pd patrol it.

I picked up a few good deals at the show:
2lbs of RL-22 at $20 a pound
2 boxes of 7mm, 162gr AMaxes for $15 a box
A stainless .410 Snake Charmer (halibut thumper) for $75. It has a broken trigger guard, but Numrich has a replacement trigger guard in stock.
A friend picked up a stainless 10/22 for $200

I saw a few other deals that I either passed up or missed out on:
Federal 210M and 215M primers for $32 a 1000
An 8# jug of H4350 for $180
Remington and Hornady 9mm bullets for $5 a bag/box
American Eagle 9mm ammo for $15 a 100
Sig 10mm ammo for $15 a box
Remington 22-250 ammo for $13 a box
Remington .300 Win Mag ammo for $15 a box
Nosler Accubond .30-06 ammo for $25 a box
Remington 1100 LT-20ga composite with Rem-chokes for $375. If it had been a youth model, I probably would have take it home with me.

There were a fair number of high-end items to see, as well. At the same table as all the single action Colts, was a pretty extensive collection of Colt Woodsman .22s.

This show reminded me of the gun shows of old...lots of private tables selling their extra stuff at garage sale prices. I am glad I went!

I saw lots of .22 ammo at $20 a brick, so maybe this is an encouraging sign that the good-ole-days might be coming back?

kk,

Is that table with all the colts in your picture the same ones that were at the Wasilla HS gun show a few weeks ago? I ask as I had to wipe the drool off my face between that table and the one with all the Savage Model 99's that were next to it.

Negative, I am back out of country working until July/August. There was a couple of Savage 99's I'd like to have, but the pocket book wouldn't allow it.
