I'm lookin' for of them Marlin bolt-action Goose guns now. The one with the 36" barrel... We used to sell the schist out of those when folks still believed they'd " reach way out there...." Now Now Now--Pooh-Bah---My trap gun has a 34" barrel. I'm at the 27yard & shoot Class A in singles. Longer barrels do have merit & they just look "cool".

I wonder what the "Blanton's Factor" is on that one.
Vic we should have no problem competing with New York skippers heck I shot 36 pounder on the last day of our season here. The skippers in western New York weight 36 pounds in August. If I can figure out how to post images I'll give em a run for their money next year. This Blanton's thing is a problem though all their talking about it made me thirsty and it's not available in VA. I'll have to stick with my old standby 14yo Glenfiddich puts me in my happy place every time Good luck and shoot straight y'all
