Any one have any experience with the left hand stocks from Richards? Any experience with the inletting quality on a left hand 700? I know the outside is going to be rough, but I don’t mind the finishing aspect as long as the action fits well.

The one I got was better on the outside than in. I don't know what it was supposed to be for, but it wasn't what they said. I had to hollow out the stock and rebuild it with bedding to get the gun to sit straight in the stock. And it took six months longer to get than they said. And they don't answer the phone.
They are awful and take forever. Don't do it.

I have 2 of them leaned up against the wall in the reloading room for a LH win 70. Or thats what i paid for. I never tried to fit the action because by the time I got them i had gave up, bought a used McMillan, and been shooting the gun for 6 months.
I will say the finish on the outside wasnt bad. The inletting looks decent. The quality of the wood looks great... Customer Service is non-existent.

I can tolerate a rough exterior. Their inletting is terrible. There is no excuse for that.
I’ll never order another Richards “microfit”. Is anything but a microfit.
