Looking for a belt pouch for a full size Benchmade Griptilian.

I don't care much for what I've seen in a Google search. Benchmade doesn't do leather.

What I want is pretty simple. Plain sewn brown leather with a snap that doesn't turn green. But made nice.

Can anyone recommend a leather man for that?

You might try Simply Rugged. I am a fan of their holsters and belts. He also offers punches for multi-tools and flashlights. He might be able to set you up with something.

And his customer service is usually pretty dang good too.

Out of curiosity - have you looked at magazine pouches? There are several makers of single magazine leather pouches sized for different magazines, one might be close to a fit.

There is a guy named Josh Clarke that offers knives for sale and leather goods to go with them in the classifieds occasionally. Another fellow who goes by the name "jk16" on here, sells stuff for him on this board. I bought some nice leather axe handle guards for a very fair price from jk16, but made by Josh Clarke.

You might search them out on here

[bleep] has several leather crafters that offer very attractive sheaths for the Griptilion. Interesting word filter catch. E T S Y...

MOGC: I went to [bleep].com but that doesn't look like the kind of place you're talking about.

[bleep] me that's funny. I went there and only saw chick stuff.

Good grief... can't post a hot link to that place. Just do a search for Griptilian Belt Sheaths. Plenty of them available.

Did you try A.G.Russell down in Arkansas? They sell some nice leather pouches for folders. They're on the web.

Gles and Brittman - Parsons makes some beautiful sheaths all right. Didn't see folding knife pouches but I'll bet he makes some fine ones.

As for A.G. Russell I don't know why I didn't think of them. I just checked and they make a $35 pouch that looks good and might fit. I think I'll give them a try.

Thanks.

I did not expect to have to search this much for such a simple thing as a leather belt pouch with a snap. We've got a big knife store in the area and they had nothing.
