I don't care for the way he talks with folks, when he gets rolling, but I'd never ban him. It's like kicking a dog for licking his balls in public, it's just who he is, and some folks just can't help the Verbal tourette's syndrome, that spews forth when thier lips part. I doubt I will ever understand the colored tape and the rifles sunk in stream pics. (But no one really understood Salvador Dali either, with the melting clocks and surreal view of life. Much of Art, music, dance, would be down right boring if it continued down predictable/traditional lines. )
Use the knowledge he is willing to share, and just accept the fact that he has difficulty relating with folks in a polite way. What you see is what you get, deal with it, or move on, because he can't force you to read what he writes.
Personally, I have no one on ignore, (though a few make that decision debatable). I'm capable of deciding for myself, if I should respond or not, when someone is being an ass.

An unemployed Jester, is nobody's Fool.

the only real difference between a good tracker and a bad tracker, is observation. all the same data is present for both. The rest, is understanding what you're seeing.

Not that I care , but what does he really know about guns that is not well known and common knowledge? Just asking. Is it the " Kiss, find pressure and rock on"? Or is it " buuulllitts are faaaar more important than headstamps" that has so many impressed with this guy? Again, not that I care much, just wondering while I sit next to my fire.

The guy is a complete idiot. I hope he’s gone for good now. If he could contribute info, knowledge, or experience like most others do, then he’d be worth having around. Unfortunately, if he does indeed have something to share, he just can’t do it. He has what appears to be a texting version of Tourette Syndrome.

I've had the azzhole on ignore for about the last 4 years. He doesn't know a damn thing of any value to me and I ain't real interested in pictures of fish or rifles that look like they were painted by a retarded 5 year old.

Always reminds me of Cosby routines where he would babble.

I've spent too much of my life in urban California and NYC. If I learned anything from being surrounded by people who said stuff that I didn't believe in/care for/want to hear, it's that tuning out the noise is really easy.

There are a few people here whose posts I enjoy reading, and I admit that I enjoy watching the banter between those who take Stick to task and Stick. Then again, I still laugh at Beavis and Butthead and I'm a Jew who enjoys good Holocaust jokes.

I am happy that censorship is very limited on this site. One can learn a lot from reading things that mean nothing to you or even annoy you, as long as you remain in control of the off button. I probably come here in large part because there is so little moderation.

This site, to me, is equal parts information and entertainment. When it comes to Stick, it's pretty much all entertainment, especially when those who respond to him take off the gloves. I've only blocked one person on this site, and it was because he was neither informative nor entertaining.

Just put him on ignore. And when you need some mindless abuse, or just need an easy target, toggle a few and read his BS. Pun was on purpose. I'm sure some folks have me on ignore. Some how it doesn't seem too painful. Matter of fact, is has no bearing on my life at all. Rusty

Stick is like a bell, pull his rope and he makes noise.

I like to play songs with him.

Lately he has seemed a little human, and not as fun to antagonize.

Shouldn't do it, it's not nice and not even a fair match.
But it's fun.

I agree. I get a kick out of the fact. He gets most softer types panties in a knot. Problem is you either block him or take it. He’s like the Springer show. Like him or hate him you can’t look away! Hahaha! Sounds to me like some can’t stomach blocking him but snivel for the mods to do their dirty work for them. In the words of Big Stick!

Agree, SMACK, many come here BECAUSE of the lack of moderation , and then get their panties stuck in their own star fish and coony when they read Stick.

There is no doubt that BS knows quite a bit about rifle mechanics, ballistics and aspects of ballistic behavior and cartridge performance. I would concede that he is well versed in these areas. From a practical field hunting standpoint most of his discussion and opinion means a great deal less. His opinions always center around "shooting" and not "hunting" per say. For some hitting targets or perhaps game animals at 600-800 yards he may have some sound advice. For others who readily kill game inside 300-400 yards his advice is less needed. Everyone has individual preferences, his work on .224, .243 and .284 centerfire cartridges has merit, but he gives no accommodation to others who use the same bore size without his preferential cartridges. In the hunting field all the fast twist and G1 aspects become somewhat less important. Individual merit in the field along with markmanship become much more important. If using a 243 Win (1-10" twist) in lieu of 6mm Creedmoor (1-7.5" twist) makes you a dumbass in BS opinion, than his opinion doesn't mean much. Are there merits in going to a 6mm Creedmoor per BS recommendations, perhaps, but not in most instances in the game field at 300 yards. BS must realize to each his own, providing guidance is key to the forum, providing responses with insults because someone doesn't particularly abide by his recommendations is ineffective and leads to personal attacks by him and against him, which devolves the forum into a place you no longer wish to participate in. I for one would like to keep him on the forum because he does have significant knowledge in the realm of recent cartridge development and reloading, I wish he could keep his head and convince folks to try things his way in lieu of debasing them for having a difference of opinion. I will admit my interest in the 22 Creedmoor and building a 6mm Creedmoor are due to some of BS recommendations. Keep BS around, but lets keep it civil and respectful, if possible. I realize I have few posts to his 40K plus, but shared communication is the reason for a forum to exist in the first place.

He is renting free space from more than just those two.
