Ya, the day this 68 year old guy who has been in Alaska for 53 years and year after year tries for a Bison tag, only to see it go to some undeserving newbie or one of my friends families who has already got a couple.

Life ain't fair. Permits should be given out based on how long you have lived here, how old you are, how much you weigh and how tall you are. My Yukon River born wife is still waiting for hers also. We should be entitled damn it. I want my bison permit and I want it now!!!

Same here!

But when ya get that tag, give me a call as I see em every day I'm out looking for predators.

I seldom go out with tag holders anymore because it always seems to be Amateur Hour with numerous
screw-ups usually from being inexperienced or unprepared. Way to many think a herd will stand in the field
while they approach from up wind.

Another issue is the requirement for 200 grain bullet etc........the little woman or kid doesn't have much
experience let alone a high caliber rifle so she ends up with a borrowed magnum that's too long and kicks like hell.

The fourth year in a row I got zilch! Oh well, my son didn't draw either, but he will be away at basic training and AIT for the Army National Guard starting in May and he won't be back until late in the year, there's always next year.
