I learned that tidbit from a couple Marines who had been there.
P-mags were all they had for their AR-15's. It seemed they just worked when it mattered.
And these guys became fans.

Forget the P-mags, & get the ASC versions of the flavor that you like best, but the stainless is hard not to like best...................10's, 20's & 30's live in my kit. No worries about the lips distorting......................
