What temperatures are you comfortable to with this set up ?

No, typically I pull off the softshell as it's generally damp.

With a 1/4 zip midweight Capilene, 1/4 zip 200 wt sweater, unfaced softeshell, and blaze vest, I'm good down to -30F as long as I'm moving. At least that's the very coldest I've been out elk hunting.

Stationary, my whole setup (depending on the down jacket/parka I'm packing) is good well below zero, but at those temps I'll likely be making a fire if I'm sitting around long.

One thing I’m having trouble deciding on is syn vs down puffy.
Do you always prefer down ?
The fear of wet concerns me with down .

I couldn’t find how much fill was in it. Does anyone know?
