Well we don't have:

- bears (except drop bears)
- rattle snakes
- black mambas
- lions, tigers, leopards etc
- coyotes, hyenas
- hippos, rhinos, water buffalo
- alligators

so it's perfectly safe. She'll be right mate.

Sorry I missed this.

I was supposed to be in Victoria running a grape harvester but my boss waited until the last minute on my Visa and I backed out on coming over.

Were you going to Great Western, or Mildura?

These are my opinions, feel free to disagree.

I have a heap of family about fifteen kilometres from there...give me a yell if you revisit the idea of visiting.

The weather is pretty warm at the moment, but it'll start to cool soon. Someone might take you on a Sambah hunt. That's the favourite deer target for Victorians.

There are a few around Langi Ghiran and Mount Buangor, but it is private land and you will need a local with contacts, there are also plenty of hunters in Stawell who would be happy to take a Yank out for a hunt.

Pretty sure Troutback still hunts that area.

Yeah but they have 7 of the 10 top most poisonous snakes in the world.

Yeh, that's right, and then there's the Saltwater crocodiles, wild boars and the occasional bull Buffalo. Then you can go for a swim up in far north and get bothered by a jellyfish that, if doesn't kill may just drive you nuts. That may be one reason why we have a country that's roughly the size of the continental US but has only 25 million inhabitants. Wouldn't live anywhere else.

3/4 being desert and usually hot enough to cook an egg on a rock in 15-20 mins. Alice springs hasn't seen water for 60 years. But along the Swan is paradise. LOL Mate.

Looks like I am headed back your way in two days. Customer has issues they can’t solve. I get into Adelaide Saturday morning and will go to Strathalbyn Monday morning.

I can taste the meat pies already.

Kinda funny. I wait 18yrs to get a job down under and now I am headed back in six months.

Conveniently left off mentioning the Bunyip, though. Didn’t you !?!?

Well yes, yes I did, you got me, but they don't eat much though.

We used to have the equivalent to bigfoot, and it was called a yowie. Don't know what happened to him/her - haven't heard about a sighting in a long, long time. Might have gone into politics.
