i am going to try one.....Doug said they were as good or better than the meopta meostar,vortex razor hd, zeiss conquest and leica trinovoid so at half the price of those sounded like a good deal

I received my 8x44s. The only thing I have to measure them against is a set of Nikon Monarch 8x42s. No contest. The edge to edge sharpness sets the Steiners apart.
