Anything be have experience with this bullet? They are some of the cheapest bullets I’ve come across and am looking at using them in my 25-06 because I’m cheap too! Anyone?

Very accurate in my 250AI at about 3100fps. As the nose profile suggests, they come apart when the bullet hits.
I used them on crows and chucks.

Was my go to bullet for many years with a healthy dose of IMR 4350 behind it.

Not bad for varmints, but I have gravitated to the 120. Accurate and holds together well and a lot cheaper than Nosler and Sierra.

Most accurate bullet out of my 257 Roberts and is ok for broadside ribcage hits on deer and smaller feral hogs. Presently a favorite bullet that I shoot more than any other bullet in that rifle. I'm pushing it to 2800 fps if that matters.

I tried this bullet in a picky Kimber .257 Roberts and it didn't shoot well. I still have a box or so of these left so I guess I need to try them in another .25 caliber rifle. The same Kimber did well with the Sierra 90 grain HP, but the Sierra seems to shoot accurately in everything I've tried it in.

It seems the Roberts for some reason is a picky round to load for!

I’ve seen them kill a bunch of deer and coyotes out of the .25/06 and .257 Roy... they typically shoot pretty well too. The BC is roughly equivalent to a Campbell’s Soup can....

smile Ya, I used a bunch of the Speer hollow point bullets for varmint shooting over the years. Accurate. Very rapid/explosive expansion. And ya, they're pretty danged blunt!

I had to laugh at the Campbell's Soup can reference. It's close to the truth!

I used them quite a few years ago in a .250 Savage (Win Model 54) and they performed well on average sized pigs as well as smaller sized cats and foxes. The only issue was the large hollow point used to catch on the edge of the recess in the barrel to receive the claw extractor. So I had to seat the bullet to a depth where it would feed perfectly rather than best accuracy. That was the reason why I quit using them but their performance on game at .250 Savage velocities was good.

They work great in my 25/35...................they act more like a big game bullet at 24-2500 fps instead of a frangible varmint bullet at 3000 fps ...........
