Maintenance on a 107 to a CH53 is about the same. Actually going to be a little more on the 46 because you are pushing it harder to do less!

You are digging deep but your hole keeps filling in with sand!

Depends on who the user of it is. But to answer your question both CH46's and CH53's ran over their useful life expectance. Both CH46's and CH 53's have over 40 years in service. On average a CH53 squadron flies a higher OP's Tempo. But in fairness to the 46 she had so many limiting factors. I am just guessing it has been a long time we flew our birds into Phase every two months or so.

Back to the K-Max she only has a 6K lift rating however many leased K-max have seen 10K. It is faster to fly, single pilot, and more efficient than a 107 even though legally it can't lift as much. Again please show me where I am wrong.

I do stand corrected on the longest amphibious assault, Operation Distant Runner was eclipsed in Afghanistan. By again CH53E's

Again show me were I am wrong. 11,500 on Hook vs 36K on hook. How many knots is the 46 flying? Hint they launch a long time before the 53 to get to the same destination. And we still get there before them.

No matter how you stack the 46 it comes up short in every way. Hence why it has been replaced and the 53 continues to fly on.

I already answered that. About the same. However in all actuality less than the 46 because you have to push it so hard to do less!

That's not a ratio, but still entertaining. 53 parts are less expensive too?
