If you look at the completed auctions on Gun Broker, blue/wood Ruger Hawkeyes chambered .204 are selling (actually sale price) for $700 to $800. Laminated versions are selling in the $850 to $900 range. One Left Hand, Blue, Walnut just sold for $759.

I ask that question because I paid less than that for mine that I bought on gunbroker.

CDNN had LH new Ruger Hawkeyes for $499 2 years ago but they are all sold out. With Ruger dropping a lot of the LH Hawkeyes price has been increasing.
With that said tough getting top dollar LH rifles, fewer buyers!

I just use GB completed, actually sold, auction prices as a barometer of what a "Ready, Willing, and Able" buyer might pay for a firearm. As far as Ruger Hawkeyes, I'm not a Ruger guy, so, have no clue. Just reporting out a few recent sales. Although, would not be the first time that rifles went up in value after being dumped at clearance prices to make room for new inventory.

Well, I guess it goes back to the old saying of "Its worth exactly what someone is willing to pay for it".

That's a fact... Unfortunately, a good way to make the value of a certain class of firearms go DOWN, is for me to buy one... As my dear departed Father would say, I have the "reverse Midas touch..."

I saw a NIB LH Ruger Hawkeye 204 listed on gunbroker for $750ish... No bids yet.
