What sorts of covered holsters are out there that can be fastened to a pack without too much trouble? I know about Wilderness Tactical's Safepacker and Kifaru's Tombstone. Do you guys know of similar products?

I really like Hill People Gear's Kit bag. Usable with or without a pack and will work for a variety of handguns: https://hillpeoplegear.com/Products/CategoryID/1

This is what I use. It has served me well for many years. Can be install and removed rather quickly from pack to belt and can be worn strong or cross. https://www.huntercompany.com/collections/snap-off-belt-holsters/products/1100-series-size-13

Thanks Blu n Cube.
I'm interested in getting something that I can fasten to the pack. Either on the bag or on the belt. Something that will protect the gun from muck and mud when I dump the pack. I wish safepacker was made with a molle configuration.

The great thing about a kit bag is, your handgun is always with you when you shed your pack, like when you stop to pinch a loaf.

Check out...
Simply Rugged Chesty Puller Paradise Valley Leather Gunfighters Inc.
...for chest carry. They aren't covered, but wear comfortably while using a pack and I've even slept well while wearing my Gunfighters Inc chest holster (on a cot and in a hammock).

Yep...and can be used for anything...not just a handgun...or several things along with a handgun, all while being inconspicuous. I use them all the time, year round for all kinds of stuff. Great piece of gear.

When you're checking out the women down by the lake you want to be inconspicuos too, otherwise it's creepy. At least that's what Battue says.

Yes, toilet paper...and condoms....and still leaves room for a Glock!

A pack of lotion tissues is better, especially on an extended hunt.
