Guys,

I struck a deal with Kimber to do a final run of Montana's in 223 Remington. Most of you know they discontinued the 223 from the Montana line up in 2019. We couldn't deviate from the original factory specs because they already had a few barrels, mag boxes, etc. The guns all have the new green stock, threaded barrel and 1 in 9" twist. Several of you (including myself) were big fans of the platform and the bolt face makes a nice platform for a donor. (Thinking 350 Legend, etc)

With that being said, they're doing 25 for us and I have 16 of the 25 in house. The remaining 9 will ship in the near future. The price is $1149.99 (including shipping) to anywhere in the US (that includes you AK guys too). I've been told there will be no more 223 Montana's after this run.

If you'd like to buy one, please email Eric, Cody or myself. No PM"s please...Our website is currently down for maintenance, but the new site will be launching in short order. It may be several days before I can post a link, but I promise to do so once we have the kinks worked out.

I bought a Kimber Montana in 223 Rem a few years ago. What a fun little package. Ammo is cheap, too.

I've always had a hankering for one in 17 Remington. No idea why, I just want one. I've also said if I ever did another 6x45 it would be in a Kimber Montana. A switch barrel wouldn't hurt my feelings either.

Man.....I’d love a 6x45 Montana. Except you can’t buy that ammo at Wally World, which is one of my check boxes anymore.

6.5 Grendel Montana would do it for me.....or 6.8 SPC.

Or even better.....a RAR Ranch Model in 6.8 SPC for that low low Whitaker’s deal.

Wink wink.....hint 😉

We should be getting a few 6.8’s from a highly regarded manufacturer soon. Not many, but enough to quench the thirst of 25 guys or so. More on that later.

My Ruger exclusive this year is a 17HM2. It’ll be on the same platform as the 8334 - the blued American Rimfire Predator. Those are getting really close to delivery. We toyed with stainless, but couldn’t make happen.

somehow people dont know. they (including me before i knew) would rather have 3 RARs than 1 montana. ordinarily id agree but so wrong in this case.

I’ve got one of the RAR in .223 and it’s a shootin fool - but I really like my Kimber Hunter’s action and egros and wish they would offer a fast twist .223 in that model. That would be about as sweet a light weight knock about rig for all-around use as can be made...imho

How would someone be able to purchase this online? I love the 17hm2. I've had to have the barrels custom made for my guns. It would be awesome to get one factory made.

Guilty as charged your Honor. $300 rifle with a $300 scope ain’t a bad gig.

I will own one of those. I hope you get plenty in. When you announced that you were going to get Ruger to do that run for you, I seeded the message in other forums and it generated a good bit of interest. Ammo is plentiful now too. I am excited!

Shout-out to Darrik, Cody and Eric. Purchased a 223 Montana on Tuesday afternoon and picked it up today at my FFL. Hard to beat a three day turnaround.

Thanks
