Didn't need this..........just didn't have a 35 Rem.......... This ole 1971 336 will be fun to hand load some heavy cast boolits for........ Prob try some Trailboss or Universal....... Looks like in purty good shape......no.......the scope is going in the trash........... G/kids will end with her.........they'll put it to good use....... Those are the ones you bid on hoping somebody else will come over the top, because you keep telling yourself you don't need it...but it's a heck of a deal. You bid on it....nobody else bids, and you win it. Then you say, "What the heck?" There is no way somebody didn't see this....and now I have to buy it.....dang it. Then you get it your hands, and a big ole smile comes to your face....and you keep repeating to yourself......I stole it. Great snag. I got one just like it last year. Same year model. Same condition, no scope though....to the door for 475.  No body bid on it. So.......and, I didn't need it.

I out bid another guy by $2.77 in an extended 15 minutes.....
again.....the scope/ring set up is hidious .........

I have picked up a number of great classic shootin' irons over the last few years that I really "needed".....
Seems old timers die off and the younger generation just don't understand, or care, about fine quality workmanship or history.

Took advantage of Midway's free ship on $49 orders today........
Set of Lee three piece dies......box of Hornady brass.......some hard cast boolits......
246 grain......359" diameter.......Micro Grooves like 'em fat..........
some other Marlin odds & ends parts........
Once I get 'er I'll pull it down & polish the innards and general clean up
Load up some plinker 357 158's and try it out.......
new guns are fun !!!!!!!!!!

That is a deal. There are always guys who swear that their neck of the woods is full of these that are $250, but I never see them. the 35 rem caliber definitely adds to the value. I think that is a heck of a deal. Nice shape gun. Guy will give up the 30-30's at a lower price, but the 35's are more dear, and the .444 are made of gold or something.
