I have a Savage that was dropped and had a chip knocked out of the stock where it meets the receiver.
It also has some rust issues from accidental improper storage.

This was obviously a nice piece before and I would like to send it to someone for repairs.

Any suggestions on who can perform this?

He is an old time gunsmith that can repair most anything. He has worked on 2-3 of my guns a year for probably the past 10 years. Has been through several factory schools including SIG and S&W. He is a retired F&G officer and was the departmental armorer.

He now goes to Florida every winter and the shop won't be back open till mid-June....
