One thing most people don't notice is the rear portion of the rib mounted on the barrel can make contact with the receiver especially after the barrel warms up a bit. It can and will affect barrel vibration caused erratic accuracy. The fix is to remove it and file off a small amount off the rear of the rib. One thing though, it's a bitch taking that rib off. The screws must not only be torqued to a high number but probably use red Loctite on them as well.
