That's like having an Audi S6 in the garage and never driving it. Or a matching numbers 1969 Super Bee that gets less than a 100 miles a year on it? Those 400 ponies sure do sound nice and like to guzzle fuel.

One thing most people don't notice is the rear portion of the rib mounted on the barrel can make contact with the receiver especially after the barrel warms up a bit. It can and will affect barrel vibration caused erratic accuracy. The fix is to remove it and file off a small amount off the rear of the rib. One thing though, it's a bitch taking that rib off. The screws must not only be torqued to a high number but probably use red Loctite on them as well.
