Hi, Bushnell is not answering my question. I talked to them today and asked them about their "Engage" scope. I asked if the glass and the coatings are the same as the Nitro. He would not answer the question. He talked about something else. Does anybody know the answer?
I can't find the Engage scope at the stores. Cabella's has the Nitro and Force. But no Engage. It is online for sell. but i wonder if they are trying to dump them.
Thank you.

I don't have a nitro, but I do have an engage (2.5x10), I think.

I compared it next to a bushell 4200 3-9 and my PST 6-24. The glass is clear and it kept up, it was better, with both of these Scopes at dusk.

For the price, I like it. It currently sits on a 7 mag and I've had no problems with it in the last year.

The turrets feel plasticy. I'm not sure exactly what the turrets material is, but it's a sub $300 scope so I can't complain really.

From what I could tell the nitro adds ED glass. I “think” the coatings are the same. The real difference is the glass.

The nitro should be on par with the 4200, the forge similar to the 6500. Not sure on the engage, but it is probably similar to the old 3500.

This is based purely on reading busnells propaganda.

I have several Engages....

a 2.5 x 10, 3 x 12, and 4.5 x 16..

I think the glass is great, the knobs seem to track perfectly.. ( at least on mine)

I did have a 2 x 7, but that one was just weird... and had issues, so I contacted Bushnell and they
swapped it out for the 3 x 12....
