Thanks, Paul. Yes, we had no problems. I think the only people who had problems were the idiots that ventured out, going where they didn't have to go. These kinds of storms are not that unusual in this part of the country, but they aren't commonplace either. However, those of us that have been around here for awhile, know how to stay safe. All the new immigrants from Cali and NY, I just don't think they get it. The big danger wasn't the snow, but the wind and blowing snow. Don's picture shows how that wind can really change the dynamics. I doubt Don got more than 6-8 inches of actual snowfall, but if you blow that 6-8 inches into one place, it gets deep pretty quick! I actually think the cattlemen lucked out with this storm since other storms that have lasted longer have killed a whole bunch of cattle, devastating herds, over the years.
