The wood problem is not limited to the Williams. Have seen that with Redfields as well.
my otherwise pure f 250-3000 wears a williams............damnit!

I Am looking for a savage 99a straight stock in good shape. I just picked up a 1974 99a that had the stock cut and a recoil pad added. I would like to be able to get it back (as close as I can) to original condition. Any help would be much appreciated .
I'm looking for an elevation/windage slide (Left mount) for a Lyman 57SA mount that I have. Other 57 left side elevation/windage slides) will most likely work. Thanks, Keith

Yep, think those are the right studs for a 50's R. Don't need the hooks, though who among us isn't always on the lookout for those?
Anybody run into a set, let me know.

Anybody got a source for a 1965 24J-DL buttplate? Has the white liner piece on it...
Or somebody have one in a parts pile?
Picked one up with a recoil pad. Buttstock isn't cut, so would like to make it correct. See a bunch of 24 buttplate repros on eBay, but none with the whiteliner (could fake that, I know..).
Here's a pic of one. Not my gun, obviously.

Thought they were one piece.. but just loosened the pistol grip cap and it's two separate pieces. So looks like I can get a 24 buttplate, and then will have to fake a white line spacer.
Thanks, Mike.

WTB: stamped steel ejector / extractor for a Savage/ Stevens 94M .410
Please help me... I have my childhood Stevens model 94M break barrel .410 my Dad bought me when I was 13. Years (decades) ago I some how managed to load a shell in front of the ejector and when I forced the break barrel closed it snapped in two pieces. My Grand-Daughter is now 13 and I would like to pass it down to her.
If there is a better place to post, please let me know!

I am looking for a muzzle brake for a 1899...I think! My 1899 in 30-30 has a threaded end on the barrel with a shoulder that looks like a stop. I am assuming it was a muzzle brake that was original. Can anyone confirm that? Is there any chance of finding one? Thanks, Dan
