It is the designation for the Browning Superposed built in Belgium after the introduction of the Citori.
If you need more or different information, ask specific questions.

Well, thank you , woodmaster.
However , my limited knowledge is that the frames were Miroku.
Looking for value on NIB B 125 ..20 G.
Thanks

Sorry mistook B-125 for the B-25.
The B-125 does use a Miroku receiver with a hybrid Superposed-like fore arm. It was to be the high end "mass production" model while the old Superposed/B-25 became a custom gun.
I have not seen a B-125 in person nor do I recall seeing them on any price sheet I've had available. From what I read of them I would price it at a similarly optioned Citori as that is pretty close to what it is by my reckoning. I might be off but with the hybridization and base features I don't see this as being much more than a dandified Citori. Kind of like a Weatherby Vangard rifle is just a Howa 1500 given a new name and maybe some lipstick.
Besides knowing the gauge, that it has choke tubes, and it's condition other helpful factors would be barrel length, grade, if one still has the original box and hang tags (you do say it is NIB but too many use that incorrectly to describe condition and not an unfired gun still in the box), and if there were any additional options or accessories with the gun.

Thanks wood master,
More specs, NIB unfired , all original Browning paperwork, including engravers certificate ( j. lewaczyk. ?) and standard booklet on " how to shoot a shotgun"
Model SPLT
Grade B. English style straight stock , excellent wood ....not quite exhibition , but close to it. Bbls , not sure would expect 26"-261/2" . Schnable forearm . B 25's were not schnable, but rounded. No additional accessories . No hang tags on this.
I am thinking $ 4500.00

That sounds reasonable as a start though I am not much into collectibles of that nature. This is a rather specialized market and one can go a long time before finding the one person looking for that particular model. Ive dabbled in it to a small extent but it tied my money up longer than I liked. Best wishes on your endeavor.

woodmaster,
Yes ,I understand ....a very small market .
My Browning book by Schwing has but 2-3 pages on the B 125, about time the book was completed.

These are GREAT guns! Just shot a 16 bore last weekend that’s a twin to yours. Very lively and shoots where you look.

Sasha and Abby,
Sounds like a nice gun, nice wood , and engraving.
This one is still hanging around here, I have my old 20 Suprerposed....that I doubt will be sold ever. But, the 20's are piling up.
Thanks for the input
Best
Chuck
