If you are interested in developing handloads for this round you will be pleasantly surprised , imo I am a sheep hunter first before anything, and prefer a shorter barrel than 24" . I have done quite a bit with the 25/06 in the past. Good rams are seldom taken long distance, good rams needs to be evaluated closely. Good luck and God Bless

Last weekend I got to watch my seven year old granddaughter do her very first downhill race at Crystal Mountain. She came in first of the girls and second overall. Great to be a Grampa!
