I was complaining about my tax bill but my youngest turned 18 last year so I lost her as a deductable.
last year I got a refund. This year...ouch. I'm paying so much I changed my deductions on my w-4

Paid $1500 last year, got $3000 back this year while making a little less. If folks could ever get past hating Trump for his personality, they may realize he has the best policies since Regan.

You are looking at it wrong. You didn't get back near as much on your tax return you should be mad.  I just compared the appropriate lines on my tax return for this and last year. Refund down about $300.00; taxes paid down about $700.00 which was in MY pocket last year. .
