Looking for a good source to buy some hatch chilies from. I have used the google machine but thought some of you might have some experience with some of the outfits out there on the world wide interwebs. If so, any info would be appreciated.

Nothing. Beg to differ. The chili from them parts is delicious. Though not the only place.

Jim C Since Wenk Farm in ABQ , and Tagami's in Peralta closed the farms down to accommodate urban sprawl, Hatch is still raising Chile. They are to Chile as Rocky Ford is to cantaloupe and Vidalia was to onions. TX and WA now raise some good sweet onions, or maybe always did, just never pushed the advertising.
NewMexicanConnection is where we order ours.
My wife just checked the site and said, "All orders 50 bucks and more shipped free."

Nothing. lol....Where do you recommend then? Hatch is great but anywhere north and south say 30 miles are great on average. That Rio Grande alluvial is simply amazing for peppers and about as consistently good as you will find, regardless of weather.... You can get good peppers from other places but consistently, that general area deserves it's history....

If you are not a NM chile head you will NEVER understand. Green chili is like an opioid addiction. Miss a day and start to worry about where the next "fix" is coming from
How can I tell you bye if you wont leave?

Ahhh, I was hoping to draw out mi amigo mudhen; sorry it splattered on you. I spent something over a year in Reserve, enjoyed it and managed to get down to "Silver" once in a while. It does a gringo good to be a minority for a long stretch at a time!
