However, I've searched high and low.....and cannot find the material used in the manufacture of those rings......in particular the models TO84 and TO48C. Izzit steel or some lighter-weight alloy? beretzs Campfire Ranger B Joined: Apr 2011 Posts: 15,296 Northeast USA	I started out running the Warnes on all of my Tikka's and Chet mentioned the Sportsmatch, so I ordered up a couple sets of them.. Swapped them out last night on my 6.5 CM. So the Sportsmatch saved me a couple of ounces. Plus they are a touch lower which helps with the McMillan to make the stock weld feel pretty darned good...
