I just started loading up some Hornet cases to fire form to 22 K Hornet. I got 200 PP cases and have some Speer 33 gr. HPs that I need to get rid of.

I shot 100 Hornets this morning. They are now K Hornets. Prvi Partizan cases. No losses. I thought the group wasn't too bad considering I used four different bullets and two different powder loads. 4 inches at fifty yd.

Cool! Did they all blow out fully?

Yes, they did. No losses. I have another 150 to firreform, so I'll gather up whatever 224 bullet odds and ends that I have on my bullet shelves and load 'em up.

Looks good Steve. Does the fired brass not need trimming, as with AI'd brass?

When the brass flows into the sharp shoulder, it usually shortens a bit and rarely ever needs a trim after forming. If I trim K Hornet cases it is usually to get all cases the same length.

The fired cases are all around 1.682 inches. They won't need trimming for a while.
Once the rest are fireformed, I'll load them up and figure out which primer I need.
