got to get the hood and roof repainted, clear coat has faded.probably just have the whole thing repainted original color. fully loaded.

bought off the dad of my daughters ex boyfriend.
its an a older model 04 but only 60thousand and some change miles, only going to need have the paint done. leather interior in nice shape.

one of my duck hunting buddy's owns a paint and body shop. it don't need any body work.

must be the green paint as the clear coat on my Tundra which is a 04 done the same thing but it has alot more wind burn on it as it has over 350000 miles

Go ahead and change the timing belt, tensioner and water pump as they probably haven’t been done and it’s an interference engine. The 2UZ-FE engine is one of the best Toyota built IMO! Keep the oil changed and it’ll run forever

How come every $1k vehicle I see needs $2k of work, not counting cosmetics?

The 96 Subaru purchased in 2017 with 123k on the odometer set me back $1500.
And it was a good deal. Around here anyway.

Great buy.My 2002 Tundra is the same color.Had the top and hood repainted about five years ago and it needs it again.Mine has 208,000 miles and I've never owned such a trouble free vehicle.Besides,lube changes,shocks and struts,timing belt,front pads once,rear brakes still original,tires and gas has been my biggest expense.

Wouldn't cost anywhere near $2k to fix that paint.

You could get the whole thing stripped, painted and still have $6k vehicle when you're done. smile
