good video thanks for posting this video !

here in Northern Minnesota most people don`t know this : the favorite food source for timber wolves in winter is black bears , a pack of wolves will pull that bear out of den, that poor bear has no chance of survival and then wolves eat that bear dead or alive. the reason wolves prefer bears to eat is the fat on the bear is good protein for a wolf, plus these black bears have no chance or ability to fight off these wolves when bear is still sleepy and not moving very well.

Where was that filmed at? I'm guessing PA. That was a shooter bear IMO.

..cool, beautiful, and hilarious all at the same time.

Been in close vicinity a couple times to Mr. Blackie while hunting. Closer than I wanted.

He'll make you drop a brick in yer shorts, even if hes more scared of you then you are of him. Sounds like the tasmanian devil, and imposing on hind legs.

I see one every spring in my yard.
I have not seen him yet. There is a Wolf
den about a mile from here. Maybe they found him?

You have never heard a moose roar, I bet. Few have. It is a sign of stress I'm told. A professional moose biologist I know slightly, has only heard it once, ( from a penned moose) in his over 20 years of working with them .

I've heard it twice, in the wild, and the second time I saw it. First time I didn't see what made the sound, and knew not what it was. I did decide to go hunt elsewhere for the rest of the day, however. smile

Interestingly, both times was in the same place, a couple hundred yards and several years apart. Might have been the same moose - a cow is the one I saw roar, but the biologist tells me both sexes make the sound.

It makes a bear sound like a mewling kitten by comparison. Probably about a 5-brick load if one wasn't moving so fast.... smile

Pass couple of months I watched the PA Game Commisions Bear cam of a mother and cub. Very interesting watching the little cub grow up.

Then April 11th she cleaned the little guy up and left. His first trip into the world.

PGC clip of them leaving.
