Was in a hurry the other nite for stir fry...bought a brand name package of frozen veggies...looked a little worse for wear....read the label looking for expiration date but found country of origin... China! Really? I deep sixed them but I think they were FlavRpac I live in Northern California but I have heard they grow veggies down south, in the land of fruits and NUTS. wtf??? So we start reading labels, Ritz Crackers, right? We grew up with them. Mexico! Thank you Nabisco. Going thru the pantry now on a search and destroy mission.
Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

Bet you're right, but who knows, the honey wagon may not be the worst of it when you think back to the Chinese building materials scandal, whole houses in the US. condemned from toxic chemicals. The Chinese poly pipe scandal. The old lead in the ceramic coffee cup trick. And don't forget the cadmium coated bbq grills. It just goes on. I don't consider myself a damn snowflake earth cookie, but we are nuts to feed their crap to our grandkids.

Watch your canned mushrooms!
Kennet Square Pa. is The Mushroom Capital of America.
It is located right in Amish Country, ie Pa Dutch.
Pa Dutch brand mushrooms have a logo on the can, "America's Favorite".
Some of them, on the back, say Made In China!
WTF!
Parents who say they have good kids..Usually don't!

I read labels too.
My honey comes from my bro-in-law in UT. My syrup comes from Danny in NY. My canned mushrooms come from France. I shop at a market that labels all of the meat and produce and where it comes from. The seafood lists whether it was farmed or fresh/line caught. I DONT eat farm raised salmon. I DONT eat tilapia.
It's all about choices.

I don't know why we spend so much time worrying about other countries and trying to figure out ways to protect ourselves from them. If we just are patient, they will kill themselves off with their food.
