My ancestors owned slaves. Big deal. It was legal to do so at that time and place......and I'll repeat that....it was L..E..G..A...L, legal to do so. It doesn't bother me one bit that they did, because that was a very long time ago. I'm sure that if I traced my ancestors back far enough, I'd find some reason to accuse someone of mistreating them. But, does that give me the right to demand justice from them?
Ever since I first heard the word "reparation" I've said that it is nothing but another move by the Negro to get something for nothing....something that they have become very good at. Gimme dis, and gimme dat........that has become the modern day Negroes motto.
