Pretty much along the lines of Australia, I think.
Banning 22 rimfires that hold 10 or more rounds... how ridiculous.

They were trying to ban semi autos mainly but the wording includes all action types
there are a lot of early pump, bolt action tube fed .22 with 15 shot tube fed mags
even my early .22 savage semi is tube fed
there will I think be a lot of legal challenges to the wording until it is all sorted
they are trying to sort out a buy back policy but that will take up to a month to work out
An Asian man is very concerned about his Gold Plated AK47 presented to him by the Chinese Govt
What the value of that is God Knows but will he be compensated to the full value?

Hate seeing the “Oregonization” of NZ. You mention Henrys and 1873s. Out here technically I don’t think those are considered firearms as we have a 100-year limit. Sorry to hear it.

Wrong, N.Z. got off lighter than Australia we lost ALL semi autos regardless and pump action shot guns. Having said that most are waiting for the hammer to fall on lever and pump action rifles.
