For a CZ 455 with 11mm dovetailed receiver can anyone recommend somebody who makes a good 11mm to Weaver scope base?

Not Picatinny because I want to use Burris Signature Zee rings which are listed as Weaver style.

I know they can be put on a Picatinny base but I'd rather do a Weaver base if I can.

(Weaver makes a 3/8" two piece base that looks like crap so even if they made it in 11mm I wouldn't go there.)

Thanks.

JP makes delrin adapters for Burriz Zee.

https://www.jnpgunsprings.com/CZ-11mm-to-WEAVER-SCOPE-RAIL-ADAPTERS-p72157596

Reportedly the Burris Signature .22 rings have reversible clamp for 11mm or 3/8 rail.

FWIW I use the reg aluminum Burris .22 rings (3/8) and torque the clamp screw to 30 in lbs.
Worked in my 455 and Anschutz 184.

If not going w the J&P, proly look at DIP stuff. Good reviews but not the look I like.

hookeye:

The JP adapters look interesting but I'm not so sure I like the idea of them being made of delrin which is a resin.

I had to laugh at this: "They also eliminate the need for unsightly Picatinny scope rails that mar the dovetail and the receiver top and destroy the natural lines of a quality rifle."

A one piece rail is exactly what I prefer.

All the DIP bases are Picatinny and I've heard good things about them - and I just might end up with one if I can't find something similar in a Weaver style.

Those previously mentioned DIP bases are what I have on my CZ-455. Put a set of Warne Maxima steel rings on it and they are advertised as Weaver style. Been on there since about Feb. 2017 and I love that setup. The base fits the receiver perfect and the rings fit the base.

You want Bob's 25 MOA 1913 extended rail. Zee Rings suck ass and are easily trumped.

Big Stick:

What rings do you like for that rail on that rifle?

Most immediately an orphan Weaver Classic rimfire 2.5-7x28 that hasn't had a home. A new scope to be named later is likely.

Is the later scope, gonna be a like tube diameter?

The 6x MQ,simply has no fhuqking equal.

SWFA Low 30mm's arrive with 1" inserts,to tide you over the hump and they mount lower than most.

Increased ring spacing and ring surface area, are THE best friends of any/all scopes, for zero retention and tracking.

The 6x MQ is currently on sale...RINK.

Hmmm. Interesting. And it appears they allow adequate space for bolt lift.

10yd parallax control,40+ Mils of erector travel,10 Mils of correction upon the windshield's etched reticle,INCREDIBLY rugged reliability, uncany zero retention, amazing tracking and they will make you hate everything else.

Stick, would you clarify a few things for me? I am going to set up a brand new CZ 452 (2017).

What is “Bob’s 25MOA 1913 extended rail”? Is this one of DIP’s offerings? Your picture looks like one of the ones they sell.

Will the bolt clear on my CZ 452 using this rail, SWFA 6x MIL QUAD and the low rings that are included with the SWFA?

Thanks
Rob

Bob is DIP. Your bolt will clear. Somewhere I've got pics shoot looking towards the bow,to illustrate that clearance and I'll look for 'em.

after the fact i'd try something different than the j&p delrin adapters. they are obviously made a touch loosely spec'd as they slide on my CZ-455 rail wayyyy too easily and when torquing down to recommended spec of 25in/lb a crease formed where the metal ring "pinched" the delrin adapter. in retrospect i'd go burris signature rimfire rings and swap the clamps to the "A" marked ones that come with said rings as they are 11mm clamps and will fit the 11mm CZ dovetail better than the factory affixed 3/8" clamps. oh and If you do decide to go with the j&p 11mm adapters degrease the adapters and the rail with 91% alcohol or they WILL ride forward on ya. i didn't have the ring crease issue with my 452 american as it has a funky 3/8" dovetail and the delrin adapters fit almost too tight on the dovetail which i'd take over the 11mm debacle. jim and pete over at j&p are great guys and helped in every way they could including sending me another set of adapters to see if i happened to get a set of out of spec adapters but sadly my 2nd set was the same.
good luck,
Big Ed
