My wife has a Shield 9 that has always been the limit of slide spring effort she can handle. I had looked at the new Shield EZ and was very impressed with the ease in which the slide operated. My local gun pusher had one in the shop, so this afternoon, my wife and I went to look at it. She promptly traded her Shield 9 for a new Shield EZ.
She is very impressed with this well designed little carry piece.
The shop had two 50 round boxes of Rattlesnake Ammunition 380 TMJ for $11 a box. Never heard of it, but it's American made and it's get to know ya fodder for the new gun.

Good move.
I know several older folks who have bought the EZ recently, and all have been very pleased. Not a single complaint. It's the first semiauto that my wife has been completely comfortable with. Just added a CT laser.

They aren't really high mileage guns. We've had quite a few problems with the ones in our rental program.
