Man you really need to go to a good archery shop and shoot everything you can. We all will tell you what we like best, which doesn't mean crap to you or the next guy. We all like, want, need different things. When you look for a woman, do you ask on the net which woman you should try to pick up?
Listen to this guy, on buying a bow and picking up women!! Have to agree here, Though if you get a chance to shoot a Carbon defiant 34 or just a Defiant 34 w a #3 cam I have a feeling you may like it. Then I think you will like a lot of bows given where you are coming from. If it aint tuned and tuned for you you will be selling yourself short.

I'll second the suggestion to look at the classifieds on archerytalk.com. In particular, I'd suggest a New Breed bow - lifetime transferrable warranty, and second-to-none customer service (if you ever need it). Plus, since they are not as well known, used ones go pretty cheap.

I have been to a couple of bow shops recently. I think I’m going with a Halon. I’m still looking but one bow shop had a lot of used bows. Several caught my eye. The guy working there took time to talk about a couple of different bows. So the next step will be to shoot a few of them. Stay tuned... I just picked up a Brand new Halon 32 On Ebay for 500 Bucks.…..I have never owned a Mathews....But I love this Bow....Silky smooth bow...…….

Well to finish this off I wanted to let everyone know I bought a Halon 32 6 off AT for five bills. I looked and shot several different bows and finally narrowed it down to a Halon 32. Should be here is the next couple of days. Thanks for all the advice and suggestions.
