Here's a very good essay that compares actions of the French aristocracy before the French Revolution and the consequences of those actions with the actions of our liberals today. The parallels are spooky! Well worth the time to read it, IMHO, especially the comments at the bottom. there is strong support for a “borderless world,” which some see as a way to import cheap skilled labor as well as an endless supply of nannies, gardeners, hotel staff, and cleaners, all of whom are required to maintain the lifestyles of the upper crust. both sides will pay for this

The left, democrats, liberals, communist, socialist, islamites, and globalist want power/control of the American people. They hate Americans, the Constitution, and the USA. They are all enemies and traitors of America. They are using immigration/illegals to change the demographics of our once great nation. Globalists are turning it into a 2nd rate country they can control. That is the end game! Educated Christians which can think and have guns cannot be controlled by government.

Quillette is probably my favourite place to find intelligent analysis of what's going on in the world. Mine too. I discovered it a few months ago while listening to one of Jordan Peterson's podcasts. The essays on Quillette about James Damore went a long way toward persuading me to want a divorce from Google. I know that I'll never be completely without Google since Google maps is an indispensable tool for my business, but I'm using different email, search engines and web browsers now. And no, I didn't hijack my own thread since this post dovetails quite nicely into the essay linked in my OP, as I'm sure you understand.
