Back when I was wearing contact lenses, I lost one one morning. I spent the day with one eye corrected and the other not. When I got home that night, I found the missing lens stuck to my shirt, where it had been all day.

We have a 10' by 5' tripod extension made of 3-4" heavy pipe. Chain it on the loader bucket and use it to reach out into the river when moving intake pipe.

Took us two days to find it a couple years ago.

"lost" a credit card 2 weeks ago. My company card that's attached to all kinds of [bleep]. About 2 hours after I cancelled it, meaning I have to enter a new default card number to a pile of accounts, one of my employees called to say he had my card. I'd given it to him to make a purchase and forgotten.

"Lost" a skid steer for a couple days last year. Had to drive around to 10 different jobs til I found the POS.

I was deer hunting about 10 year ago and had just got back to my SUV after a long hike and no deer. I took my Swarovski EL binos off and set them on the roof of my rig. I was so tired I didn't even remember leaving them. I drove about 5 miles down the dirt road and was like "holy shirt, where are my binos?" I pull over and notice that they were barely on the roof. The strap had caught on the roof rack! Talk about forgetful, sheesh! blush

I once, in my youth mind you, couldn't find my wallet for about 4 hours, absolutely blew a fuse, ran sacked the house, the car, ranted and raved, nearly punched a hole in a wall, etc,etc,etc.........................found it accidentally.................. in my RIGHT hand back pocket, have always to this day rather religiously carried it in my Left hand back pocket. Now if missing I check my other pocket first.......................then blow a fuse..........grin
