Hadn't planned on it, but picked one up off the Fire while on a road trip. Will make a good back up rifle to the AI. Now that it has a new Zeiss on it, the FX3 with CDS went on this. Just have to see how well it shoots.

I had one for awhile and really liked it. I really like the way weatherby does things, they make an affordable version of all the high end stuff they make. Don’t want to spend 3k on a mkv dangerous game rifle, there’s the vanguard dangerous game rifle. Can’t afford an accumark, get an accuguard. Can’t affor an ultra lightweight, get a back country.
Mine was a 300wby and was an absolute tack driver

Would grab one in a heartbeat if they offered it with a striaightcomb stock. The Weatherby Monte Carlo doesn’t work for me.

I don't like the stocks, but they fit well. I'm getting less persnickety about stuff it seems.
What's it weigh?

I have the original version, all stainless, in .30-06. Very accurate. My son used it to kill his first deer. P

RE-22 and 110 AB or IMR 4831 and 100 TTSX. Up in Sedona for a couple days, dont have the load book with me.
Shot some 115 BT's, dont remember the powder or weight. Should be recorded tho.
I dont think anything in that gun shot over an inch. Its another one of those stupid accurate rifles.
