If it actually SELLS for that, it's a bargain... Best guess is, it'll fetch closer to $3K, if not over, by the time the auction ends.. I put it on my 'watch' list..

Interesting.
Back when Leslie Dengler ran the custom shop I asked them to do a custom featherweight in 7x57.
Based on the SN# this was made around then.
I was told not possible.

I see that the crossbolt and grip cap are silver. Were those stainless or nickel/chrome plated? Do you know of a source for silver grip caps? I’ve got three stainless classics and always thought they would have looked better with a SS grip cap than the black plastic ones they came with.
