FWIW, I have the Sauer 100 in 6.5 PRC mentioned earlier and it may not be expensive (paid $799) but seems to be quality throughout and not the "poor man's" rifle. Shoots quite a bit better than the MOA expected so am impressed.

Thanks. Ran the 143eldx out to 1150 this afternoon everything is jiving and I’m at 3105. With 57.7 grains of RL 26.
135 should pick up a few feet.

Ackley what barrel length are you using and what cases.

Pat,
is the other rifle in your pic the lightweight 22 creed? If so, how are you liking it?

Pat...how do your rifles get the absolute schitt beat out of them? I think you're an Ag/Fed/Control guy? But do you just drag the rifles behind you tethered with some 550? Or have a daily contest to see how far out from the truck bed you can launch them and still make it in?

Please God, give me some good tags this year....

How? He uses them daily and actually hunts with them. To me a rifle is a tool that I’m going to use and it’s going to be scratched, dinged, chipped and used to hunt and get it done however possible. β€œPretty” rifles are for museums!😁

I think his saum is a little like artwork created by a guy who loves what he does 😎

That port-side missing finish on the scope, action, and rings happens from being slung near a pack and riding next to a person in the pickup. Scuffs on the stock are from pack frames, knife-sheath or pistol holster snaps, seatbelts and the like. Then there's creeping to the top of a rise so as not to skyline yourself when stalking or starting a calling sequence.

Mighty wide gap between "Pretty hunting season toys" and "Working Rifle".
