In fourteen working days I'll be locking up my toolboxes for the last time. Thirty four years at GM, five years at a machine building company and seven years in the Air Force it's time to call it quits. While I've visited some warmer climates my parole officer ain't gonna leave our grandchildren. Someone has to stay in this sportsman's paradise to continue the fight turning this state red. So Michigan will be home for the foreseeable future. Hopeful whitless and her dyke friend will be a one and done, won't damage the state as bad as the last split tail governor.

Sure as fugg not the frozen northern welfare as a way of life state of Maine.
12 Liberal Socialist Democrat southern counties ( basically greater boston)
4 northern red counties seperated from the rest of the country by Liberal Socialist Democrat enemy territory.
Only thing Maine has going for it is Deer, Bear,and Moose hunting
IMO......

Don’t believe it will be long before they’re spreading my ashes here in AK.
Raised in sw MO, wonderful place to grow up.
But AK hit me with her siren song in 1967 when I was age 9.
5 days after high school I was headed here again. Didn’t work out, spent 3 years in Chicago, 1 in Houston and one more in MO, before I got back here again.
Fate it seems will deny me the full burrito of old age, watching my grandkids grow up.
But by god gents I’ve lived. Won the girl of my dreams, hunted from Kodiak to the north slope of the Brooks range, seen things that are hard to believe. Had a successful biz, 3 great kids and now 3 grandchildren.
I’ve got no quarrel with ny maker the 3/4 of the burrito I got to taste was damned delicious. AK is my home and I love her for what she’s given me. No where else for me.
I'm pretty certain when we sing our anthem and mention the land of the free, the original intent didn't mean cell phones, food stamps and birth control.

I'm there. I have loved living in rural southwest New Mexico for the last 25 years, but liberal politicians have now taken over at just about all levels of government. We had a Republican governor for the previous eight years who was not at all reluctant to use her veto pen. But an incredible number of bad things that didn't happen then have happened this year--in spades.
I always figured that if things went south here, I would head up to southwestern Colorado. Now, Colorado's current crop of Democrats make New Mexico's wrecking crew look positively moderate.
Oh, well--there's always Texas. Be nice to be closer to the grandchildren, I guess...

If you can stand the cold Michigan is not a bad place Wife's cousin and her boyfriend drive down to Florida in their motor home for three months in the winter. We've got a standing invitation to visit when we want. After a few weeks of them lizards running across my wife's path she'll be ready to return home.
