Nice bear. I've used those Accubombs on my last few moose, no regrets, had good performance. Have not used them on a bear yet, wondered if they would "splash" if they hit something too hard. Probably would be fine, just made me wonder after reading a couple stories on the interweb.

Congratulations! . I personally have near zero interest in proactively shooting a brown/griz - but if you're going to do it, that's the way! And darned good shooting! Congratulations on a fine bear and a great experience. Looking forward to the mount pics. Well done!
