I've got 3 Strothers and a Hickory Creek inline xbow. Since xbows aren't legal here, that'd be a Strother. Either a '12 XS Rush, '13 Wrath SHO, or '10 SR-71.

My Bighorn custom recurve 46#, going on 30 years old.
The Mrs., not being so traditionally minded, will be toting her Excalibur.

If I do and don't have a lot of time, the old reliable 91 PSE Fire Flite. IF I have time, Brackenbury recurve about the same age. Both work so well I"ve never moved forward.
Now if the animals would hold still at 25 or 30 yards I might buy a newer faster bow, but they don't at the home place. I'm betting moose might though.. may have to find out and practice further out again like I did years ago before I found out the animal could move well before the arrow got there....
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....

Hoyt Carbon Defiant for me also. Tried the new ones, nothing I liked better than this one.

Waiting to see what bowtech releases this year. There is some new technology that they put on a target bow thats supposed to trickle down to the hunting line. Aside from cam timing adjustments all other aspects of tuning will not require a bow press. I didnt get to hunt at all last yr. May not get to again this yr. But if i do ill probably have a bowtech in hand. Or maybe an old obsession def con 6

I haven't hunted with a bow for 9 years and my old bow is, well old, and in bad shape. I had bought my wife a Bowtech Infinite Edge bow and had the draw and weight set up for her. This bow is supposed to be very adjustable so I am going to see about getting it set up for me for this year.

I shoot a custom 62" Palmer take down recurve, 50# draw weight. I make my own arrows from shafts I get through 3 Rivers Archery and tip them with Wensel Woodsman broadheads or Zwickey Black Diamonds. If I'm not carrying the Palmer, I shoot an old but pristine 60" Groves Spitfire, also 50# with the same arrows as the Palmer.

Not sure why though I am surprised to see the high ratio of traditional feed back here. More power to you! So if I were to give Traditional a try again what length bow would a 30 " draw 6' 2" stature guy be looking for?

My 66" Toelke Whip longbow easily handles 31" draw, iirc, poundage is up around 60lbs, Dan said I couldn't/wouldn't hurt that bow.
