Last weekend the smelt where runnng as the creeks and rivers are running.
Woke up this morning to a cold rain and a gale blowing outta the South. Bay is wide open—if wind switches North ice on main Lake should be gone by the weekend.
Been a long winter.

Yes, it has. Even farther south between Parry Sound and Barrie, the weather has been colder, rainy and the furnace is still coming on. We had a frost advisory last night. Let's get the warm weather going!
